SUP YOGA AND FITNESS

(NEW FOR 2017!)

A new and exciting way to workout on water. Your balance will be challenged, core worked, mind focused, heart rate raised and fun guaranteed. Improve your cardiovascular and muscular fitness with one of our tailored classes from Sarah Sims – our SUP Fitness Instructor. Sarah is also a physiotherapist and massage therapist – she knows bodies and how you can the most out of yours.
No previous experience needed, Sarah will teach you everything you need to know to keep you safe and having fun on the water.

SUP YOGA
Yoga on a paddle board?? Before you right it off as impossible here’s what I tell beginners – if you can breathe you can do Yoga, if you can stand on one foot you can paddle. You don’t need any previous experience in either Yoga or Paddle Boarding we will teach you everything you need to learn. For those who do yoga regularly it’s the perfect way to rejuvenate your practice and connect mind, body and spirit with nature
Experience the natural calming splendour of floating on the water, whilst moving slowly through a guided yoga sequence. The board provides an unstable surface so you get a better core workout and feedback about your alignment. The connection to nature and the sound of water lapping on your board aids relaxation and focus on the most important aspect of yoga: your breath. The board gives you a unique perspective of both the water and the horizon and it’s the closest experience to walking on water.
Book onto a half day paddle board adventure with yoga or one of our six week courses for a regular class – Spaces are limited so book now so you don’t miss out.

SUP and RUN
Is pretty much what it says it is – A cardiovascular interval class running and supping. We warm up on land with running intervals and then take this interval theme to the paddle board. The class is aimed at clients who have basic paddle skills (you can book onto a session with one of our instructors prior to the class). You will have the chance to improve you paddle skills, get a good Cardiovascular workout and have fun. If you’re a runner this is a great way to build your CV fitness without the impact of running.

SUP HIT CIRCUITS
A new and exciting way to workout on water. Different exercises will be performed on the board whilst floating on water. Your balance will be challenged, core worked, mind focused, heart rate raised and fun guaranteed. The intensity of the exercises are increased, ensuring an effective workout with many health and fitness benefits.
